Graston Technique®

ActiveCare Physical Therapists use the Graston Technique® for instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM). We are specialists in manual therapies and using IASTM helps us achieve our goals in less time with less pressure and work on the clinician. This advanced type of manual therapy helps with tendon, muscle and fascial restrictions. It can also help with fluid congestion, scars and pain modulation. The Graston Technique® diagnoses the area of soft tissue dysfunction first and then allows the clinician to use their different techniques to mobilize the tissues to restore proper fiber alignment. This advanced therapy reduces pain, increases range of motion, strength and neurovascular motion to allow the patient to return to their quality of living quickly.
